Class Product Pieces
The following are class product pictures. All of these classes resulted in a series of quilts. The Fons and Porter classes and information on the 1890-1910 quilts started my lengthy series of quilts. In fact, I am not sure the series is finished. I have played with the landscapes and find the process of creating them fascinating. The process of finishing them has not been as successful.
This is a class product landscape from a class with Valerie Herder. I like the image of the hot, hot Midwest.
This quilt includes a block signed by Liz Porter. I took her class on 30's quilts in San Antonio. The quilt was quilted by a group from Houston.

After a class with Marianne Fons, I was hooked on the 1890-1910 era quilts. Straight Furrows was one of the first I made. The blocks are all the same design but look very different from value placement. In keeping with that period, the quilting is an all over Baptist Fan.

Another of the 1890-1910 reproduction quilts. These Old Stars are the same block. The differences come with the value placement of the fabrics.
